i got so pissed by X (patient) from time to time during my attachment today. though, it's the first day i landed myself there. he'll scream and scream in hokkien, malay & chinese whenever any of the staffs walked pass esp me ok! claiming that he wants to go to the toilet but we were told that he is strictly complete rest in bed. the best part is, i am supposed to take care of that room. Great. he simply freaks me out. and kept me out of the room most of the time.
and there, i have to wonder around like a homeless soul, just to make sure that i dont linger near my room in case he screams for me by any chance and i'll have to miserably bluff my way out again.
lesson of the day
talking about her problems is how a woman gets relief from stress. but she wants you to listen, not offer solutions. reassure her that u are listening from time to time though.
