it's like so embarrassing to mispronounce designer's or some branded goods' name sometimes. and it's also quite disturbing to hear all the mispronounced names.
therefor, today, i shall blog about some brands that i know. the correct pronounciation as in. my sis taught me how to pronounce them. and of course, some learnt from magazines. yea~
so here goes...
she's a french designer. my sis and i quite like her designs. =)
Bottega Veneta
pronounced as: boh-tay-ga vuh-net-tah
famous for the cabat nappa tote bag and the leather woven bags.
Burberry
pronounced as: bur-bri
freaking common brand. yet people often pronounced it as bur-beri or whatever blur berry shit.
Bvlgari
pronounced as: bool-gah-ri
producer of fine jewellery and watches.
Chanel
pronounced as: shuh-nel
Cloe
pronounced as: klow-ee
a french luxury brand.
Coccinelle
pronounced as: koh-chee-nel-ee
an italian brand that produces find handbags and accessories.
Comme des Garcons
pronounced as: kom-day-ga-saung
a japanese fashion designer.
Christian Lacroix
pronounced as: chris-tiang la-krwah
a french designer that designs gowns.
Ermenegildo Zegna
pronounced as: er-meh-nuh-gil-doh zen-nya
produces fine suits for men.
Georg Jensen
pronounced as: jorg-yensen
jewellery and watch producer.

pronounced as: goo-chi
famous for their bags. nice designs they have.

needless to say, they are freaking famous for their Birkin bag.

if i am not wrong, she produces perfume and some lady wear.

YSL is famous for their fragrances and cosmetics. and fashion i think.
that's all i can think of. better dont mispronounce them and embarrass yourself again. *laughs*
a woman knows everything about her children. Men are vageuly aware of some short people also living in the house.
