Confirm liao. Lao niang has Conjunctivitis. I told Dr MOK about my eye condition yesterday. Straight away she wore her mask and avoided my gaze. Practical. Lol..
Conjunctivitis.
Let me explain what it is.
Conjunctiva is the layer of epithelium(membrane tissue) covering the inner surfaces of the eyelids and a little on the outer surface of the eye (i think up to the lashline there only.), extending it's way to the edges of cornea.Conjunctiva contains lots of nerve endings which is very sensitive to pain and irritation.
So, Conjuctivitis means, damage or irritation is being caused to the conjunctival surfaces. Layman term, we call it inflammation of the eye. : )
